Who built the sledge:  Originally built by Tom Osborne, refurbished by the STPC
Brief history:  The Eliminator was the first sledge ever built in the UK back in 1978.  The sledge passed ownership a number of times before being purchased by the STPC in the early 90's.  The sledge was then upgraded and modified year after year before the decision was made to completely refurbish the sledge in 2010/2011.
